The article analyzes information regarding the life and career of Kazangap bi Satybaldyuly, a prominent statesman and public figure who served as the Senior Sultan of the Bayanaul District. As indicated by the title, the subject of this study is an analysis of the life, career, and lineage of Kazangap bi Satybaldyuly. The study aims to highlight the significance and role within Kazakh society of political figures who left an indelible mark on history yet remain largely unknown to the general public – specifically Kazangap bi Satybaldyuly and his great-grandson, Kabysh Isauly Berdali. Methods of analysis, synthesis, and historical comparison were employed to examine the data regarding Kazangap bi Satybaldyuly’s lineage. Based on an analysis of the data, the author concludes that Qazangap bi enjoyed high standing and influence among both Kazakh clans and officials of the local Siberian administration; his competence, integrity, fairness, and ability to reach agreements contributed to his growing prestige, while he also made a significant contribution to the development of the Kereku-Bayanauyl region and the protection of the interests of the local Kazakh population. The article also discusses the lineage of Qazangap Satybaldyuly - specifically, Baidaulet batyr (a close comrade-in-arms of his famous ancestor, Malaisary batyr) and other notable descendants. The name of Qabysh Isauly Berdali - Qazangap Bi’s great-grandson – was once renowned throughout the Irtysh-Semey region, just as that of his ancestor, Qazangap bi, had been. A prominent figure of the Alash movement and a celebrated poet, Qabysh Isauly was a key representative of the national liberation "Alash" movement. Under his leadership, an "Alash" military unit comprising 150 men was formed to wage a struggle against the Bolsheviks. It is reported that on July 7, 1919, a delegation from the Semey region – including Raiymzhan Marsekov and Turagul Kunanbayev – was received by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Provisional Siberian Government; the account notes that, while negotiating issues such as the Kazakh judicial system and land relations, the delegation members did not overlook the need to halt the persecution of the Kazakh intelligentsia. In conclusion, Qabysh Isauly Berdali can be counted among Turkic-oriented figures such as Mustafa Shoqai and Alikhan Bokeikhan. Archival records substantiate this view, noting that he was a poet who held Turkic-oriented views and authored poems opposing the policies of the Soviet government. Furthermore, the archives contain valuable information defining his character, describing him as a man of noble lineage who commanded significant influence and authority.
